This was our 2nd time to Powerun. From arriving until the moment we left the whole experience was truly fantastic. We were greeted by Riku who took us to the... read more huskies. We went on a magical 10km ride through breathtaking scenery. Riku then showed us round introducing the dogs and puppies and showing us the kennels and how the dogs are cared for. We sat in a hut with log fire, hot berry juice, gingerbread and pastries and hearing the incredible stories of the races Riku has competed in. All of the dogs are so well looked after that is clear to see. The whole experience was incredible and personal as we were the only group of 7 there. Can’t recommend Powerun enough. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Lapland.

Highlight unserer Lapplandreise - Wir haben die Huskysafari über unser Hotel Ylläshumina gebucht und es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Die Huskyfarm mit ca. 50 Hunden wird von Sanna und Riku mit viel Liebe geführt,... read more die Gruppen sind immer klein, die ca. 20km lange Huskysafari durch die verschneite Wald- und Moorlandschaft mit dem 4er (bei Einzelschlitten) bis 6er (bei Zweierschlitten) Hundegespann war sehr eindrücklich. Zurück in der Farm genossen wir einen warmen Beerensaft und finnisches Gebäck am Feuer in der heimeligen Holzhütte.
An alle die "klein aber fein" dem "Massentourismusprogramm" vorziehen!
