In the register, we process the information provided by customers and their uses.
Basis and purpose of processing personal data
The purpose of the register is the up-to-date management of customers’ personal data during the customer relationship, its maintenance and development, both marketing and direct marketing, and also the management of the documentation of expired memberships in the personal information system.
The processing of personal data is based on Powerun Adventures’ legal obligation to maintain a register of members and, in certain cases, the implementation of the agreement.
Personal data to be processed
The register processes our customers’ personal and contact information as well as other necessary information related to the customer. This information is:
First and last name of the data subject;
Registered office of the registered person;
Email address of the registrant;
Phone number of the registrant;
Electronic communications identification data; IP addresses.
Physical fitness of the data subject to provide the service
We receive this information by email, via the “Contact Us” form, by telephone, and face to face with the client / registrant.
Regular sources of information
Personal information is collected directly from the customer, as well as through a partner (so-called third party) who provides our services.
Protection and security of personal data
Digitally processed personal data is protected and stored in our company’s system, to which access is restricted only to persons who need such data in order to perform their duties. These people have personal usernames and passwords.
Personal information is protected from outside use and the use of member information is monitored. Personal information sent outside the company is encrypted. Used workstations and the storage media are encrypted and secured so as not to get access enables a third, a guest party.

Retention period of personal data
Personal information will be kept in the register for as long as the registered is a customer of Powerun Adventures. After the termination of the customer relationship, personal data is stored for a maximum of 24 months after the termination of the customer relationship on the basis of the company’s legitimate interest, ie due to possible legal claims (KKO 2017: 15). Personal data may also be stored for a longer period if the applicable law or the company’s contractual obligations towards third parties require a longer retention period.
Profiling

The following terms and conditions shall be applied for Husky- and Husky related safaris offered and delivered during all seasons by Powerun Adventures.
Services and Prices:
The prices and the services offered and to be delivered by Powerun Adventures under these Terms & Conditions for Husky activities are set out in the program descriptions for each program service. The given prices include VAT according to the taxation laws and Regulations of Finland. Powerun Adventures reserves the right to change the prices in case of any unforeseen increases in costs (including but not limited to taxes, fuel prices etc.).
Reservation:
Reservation received by Powerun Adventures is considered as confirmed upon reservation confirmation send by Powerun Adventures to the consumer. Payment options will be presented in our website upon reservation, or in case of reservations made on the spot and during the booking process.
Cancellation terms:
Cancellation must be done latest 7 days prior to arrival to get a refund. Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
Child Policy:
For children we have special rates, and they are announced separately in every program available. Children less than two years old are not permitted to join the activities. Provider have permission to change Child Policy on husky activity due weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Pregnant women:
Pregnant women are in charge of their own well-being, and their liability is to follow Doctor’s recommendations. We do not recommend joining the husky activity during late-stage pregnancies.
Definitions
Powerun Adventures is the provider of all husky activities at location.
“Consumer” is a person, who has delivered the Order or other way confirmed the booking to Provider. For the avoidance of any doubt, a company, corporation or community is not a person. hereinafter each alone “Party” and together “Parties”.
“Order” is any documentation in written form, from the Consumer to Provider to make a booking. “Order Confirmation” is any documentation from Provider to the Consumer including prices and specifications of the services and confirming the availability of the ordered services.
Service language
Language used for guiding and during all services is English if not otherwise stated or agreed.
Liability
Powerun Adventures shall exercise pro-activity, contingency, due diligence and appropriate health and safety measures in accordance with the laws and regulations of Finland and Finnish standards of recommended practices of program services at all times when delivering offered services under these terms and conditions.
Liability Insurance
Powerun Adventures has a General Third Party Liability Insurance for bodily injury and property damage according to the terms and conditions of OP-Pohjola ( https://op.fi )
Motor Liability Insurance
All the coaches or other motorized transport vehicles used in traffic in Finland must have valid Motor Liability Insurance. Compensation for damages or injury resulting from a road accident shall be covered by the valid Motor Liability Insurance of the vehicle that caused the accident. Under the provisions, any person suffering bodily injuries is entitled to receive compensation for the cost of medical treatment, pain and suffering, and handicap, in accordance with the terms and conditions of Motor Liability Insurance and laws and regulations of Finland. Compensations are based on tariffs in accordance with laws and regulations of Finland and orders of the Finnish authorities. Damages for property are by law limited up to EUR 1 000 000 But if an injured party has willfully or out of gross negligence caused his/her own injury, the injured party is not entitled to compensation.
Other Injuries
Powerun Adventures may only be held liable for personal injuries or material damage arising from accidents that have happened during the delivery of the offered services and which are caused by negligence of the Powerun Adventures or its employees or by the provision of faulty equipment. Powerun Adventures is not liable for any accidental damage or injury which has to be indemnified under the travel insurance of a customer. Personal travel insurance is always highly recommended to activate before journey. Program service can be physically demanding and the participants may be exposed to different kinds of physical strain. In case the Consumer is having any illnesses or disabilities (for instance heart disease, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, back or hip problems) that could affect his/her ability to take part in the Services, or if she is pregnant, she/he should prior to participating any Services consult medical experts about her/his ability to participate in the Service in question. Should the Consumer have an illnesses or disability of this nature, he/she acknowledges that he/she participates in the Service at his/her own risk.
Huskies
All huskies used in the Services are trained as far it is possible for the activity. However, behaviour of dog can never be fully predicted and therefore, in order to reduce risks, given safety and other instructions have to be obeyed.
Force Majeure
Neither Party shall be held liable for any default, damage or loss due to a condition force majeure or to unreasonable impairment of the Party’s operations due to a similar cause (including but not limited to war, strike, weather, lack of snow, or other natural condition etc.). If encountered a force majeure condition, the Party shall immediately notify the other Party in writing there of, and shall keep the other Party fully informed of the continuance of the force majeure condition and of any relevant change of circumstances whilst such force majeure continues. When encountered a force majeure conditions Parties shall also take all reasonable steps available to it to minimize the effects of the force majeure on the performance of their obligations under this contractual relationship.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Finnish Law. The Finnish Courts shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, controversy or claim related to such a demand. The District Court of Lapland (in Finnish: Lapin Käräjäoikeus), placed in Rovaniemi, shall be the court of first instance.
Severability
If any part, term or provision of these terms and conditions is partly or wholly held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of other provisions, extent part and remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
