This was our 2nd time to Powerun. From arriving until the moment we left the whole experience was truly fantastic. We were greeted by Riku who took us to the... read more huskies. We went on a magical 10km ride through breathtaking scenery. Riku then showed us round introducing the dogs and puppies and showing us the kennels and how the dogs are cared for. We sat in a hut with log fire, hot berry juice, gingerbread and pastries and hearing the incredible stories of the races Riku has competed in. All of the dogs are so well looked after that is clear to see. The whole experience was incredible and personal as we were the only group of 7 there. Can’t recommend Powerun enough. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Lapland.
Thus was our fourth dog sled outing and definitely the best. The owners were very friendly and the dogs well looked after. They clearly just love to run.

Amazing scenery and varied terrain enabled you to get a good feel for how a longer sled would feel (we took the 2 hour tour). You could help take the dogs off the harnesses which is more difficult when your dog is young and still learning and you have 3 pairs of gloves on...
Followed off with warm pastries and drinks by the fire this is HIGHLY recommended. Can't wait to come back!
